The Hengstler Tico 731 series comprises of totalising counters, tachometers, position indicators and time counters, designed for simple installation and ease of programming for applications that require fuss-free cumulative counting, timing or speed feedback.
There are five variants to choose from; variants are self-powered by lithium battery or 12V to 24V DC externally powered. Display options are an 8 digit (LCD) display or a 6 digit (LED) display.
Options include negative or positive edge-triggered inputs with low count (30Hz) or high count (7.5kHz) input speeds. High-voltage inputs up to 250 V AC/DC (20Hz) are also available in this range.
Reset is achieved by momentarily connecting 0V and the reset terminal, or by pressing the front reset button. Alternatively, the front reset button can be disabled with a permanent bridge wire to 0V and the keylock terminal to prevent tampering; please refer to each model for reset options.
Connections are made using screw terminals located to the side for 32mm mounting depth models and to the rear for 60mm mounting depth models. A spring clip that tightens against the panel secures the device to the panel cutout.
Battery-powered models can be used in conjunction with a P/E switch to convert pneumatic pulses or a continuous air signal to a digital readout, for example, filter changing, air tool operation, pneumatic pumps or for maintenance/service intervals.
